An Italian and Scottish celebration at Monkey Island Estate
We worked closely with our couple, Francesca and Tom, who came to us with a clear and beautifully considered vision for their wedding day. Together, we refined the designs to respond to the different spaces and create a series of modern, sculptural floral moments.
The church entrance was framed with broken arch style pillars, composed in irregular shapes with flower varieties and colours intentionally grouped for a bold, graphic effect. Inside the church, we introduced contemporary arrangements on clear acrylic plinths, creating a sense of “floating” florals around the altar and along the aisle.
For the pews, we opted for minimal arrangements paired with long, dramatic ribbons that trailed all the way to the floor, adding movement and softness to the space.
At the dinner reception, we introduced centrepiece designs accompanied by clusters of fruit like pomegranates, grapes and figs. This detail subtly referenced the bride’s Italian heritage and tied in beautifully with the Italian inspired wedding cake.
